Globe Trekker TV Features Hawaii in November

globetrekkerI often find that until I see a place in a movie or a video it doesn’t seem quite real to me. Pictures are great, but it’s not until I see those pictures moving that a place really comes alive. (Well, it comes alive when I’m actually there, of course, but I’m talking about the next best thing here.)

At any rate, Globe Trekker TV is one of the best ways to feel like you’re on the ground in the city or country of your dreams, and with the new GlobeTrekkerChannel you can download videos to your computer and then watch them on your own time. Once you register, you’ll get an email every month telling you which programs are new, so you’ll know when to download the ones you’re waiting for, and you can watch a free preview of some of the new offerings every month.

With the start of November, there’s a new crop of travel programs which are available for download from the Globe Trekker family – and one of them is about Hawaii! Specifically, it’s the Globe Trekker program on Hawaii, with my personal favorite GT traveler, Megan McCormick. On her adventures, Megan hits Na Pali, Kauai, Oahu and Maui. She kayaks on the Waialua River, goes diving with manta rays in Kona, and even attends a gay wedding on a beautiful Hawaiian beach! It’s the wedding ceremony that’s featured in this month’s free preview, so you can get a look at the quality of the video.

Register today for the GlobeTrekkerChannel and find out what’s new, and then browse the library of travel programming for the ones you want to see!
